ever heard of kitsch? we talked about it during printmaking today. good ol' painter of light pulls through as the number one kitsch example in the history of the world. literally. just take a gander and compare kinkade and mondrian.

have you seen that documentary that pokes fun at Kinkade? They have Kinkade tours where they visit places that look like his paintings and they say his work is really their lifestyle... not just what they hang on the walls. It is an entertaining film.
HA! We talked about the difference Kincaid and Turner (the REAL painter of light!) in my HUM 350s class. I have to laugh at the fact that Kincaid makes every house bursting with light. How much electricity are these people using?!?!? Honestly. It's absurd.
