jared: alright, what should we do for the preview today...?
lindsay: lets just walk around, or set them out and if someone wants to get up and throw something away they could maybe look at our pieces.
jared: no... i need more control than that.
lindsay: we could handcuff everyone together. is that enough control?
jared: okay, so, yoko ono is a sort of musical performer right... so i was at one of her concerts...
anna: SHE RUINED THE BAND!
morganne: she MADE the band. and i'll tell you why later...
darilyn:(whisper) what band???

WHAT!!?!?!?!?! how the hell do you live in this day and age and not know who yoko ono is!?!?!?!!?!

jared: well, i was at her concert, and she was wrestling a chair, and...
jared then proceeds to "wrestle" the chairs we were going to draw the class before. i will have to get the photo from the girl in my class documenting this event. he sits, turn, rolls, stands, sits again, lifts chair, tries to climb through... all in imitation of yoko. then, when he's caught his breath...
jared: so, after she's done doing that, she sends these people around the hall, attaching a string to you. i just thought it was a big fire hazard...

do i have amazing classes/teachers or what?

new voter

so, i missed the deadline to request an absentee ballot by one day. precisely 24 hours. thats right... no primaries for me. dern. ah well, at least i get to vote in the real thing. but, i am a little irked that they sent the sample ballot to my home out here in provo, but didn't figure out that i was out of state...

also, remember that fruit stripe gum? with the really intense zebra stripes on each piece of gum? and the wrappers were tattoos? well, i have been looking for it this week. smiths-nope. 7/11-nope. reams-nope. i came home and checked online. just so you all know, you could buy it by the 2 pound package at amazon. thats right. TWO POUNDS! its only $9.59 plus shipping. but honestly, a great deal. 24 packs of sliced nostalgia for 10 bucks. i thought about selling the stuff i didn't use[for an art project]. my brother told me to immediately dispell the idea and forget about people buying my black market fruit stripe gum... i guess i'll have to settle for orange trident and bubblicious.

sompin ain't right

do you ever get the feeling something is missing in your life? something you're supposed to do? someone you're supposed to meet or have around?
i'm definitely getting it. my best friend left almost a month ago. i have had no contact with him for almost a full 4 weeks. when you get in your moods and just need somebody to give you a hug, you really want your best friend. and calling in a replacement is only momentarily satisfactory. there is no replacing your best friend. and that sucks. sure, you meet new people and hope for the best in budding relationships. but, there is never anyone as good. at least i know it could get worse. and has in the past. so, for now, i will just be grateful i ever had him.

everytime i try to turn my camera on it goes, "eeeeeeeeeeeehhh........ gug gug gug gug gug gug gug. eeeeeeeeeeehh!" then this shows up on the screen. "lens error. restart camera." first of all, you think i couldn't tell there was some sort of error when my camera started making sounds like it belonged in a jungle in brazil? yeah right. second, how the snap am i supposed to "restart" my camera? that wasn't even in the fine print! i read that whole stinkin booklet. lemme just make a run over to the geek squad and see if they can help me out. heavens knows what will happen to that poor-little-out-of-warantee-camera of mine.

last football game i got to go to. row two. julie got some sort of innerd sickness. hence the pale face and unhappy eyes. none-the-less, its the classic cougar growl.

i am loving my digital design class. too bad its only twice a week. and also only half the semester. i might do the whole digital design thing after my bachelors. sound good? if i can work out the pic, i'll get the one i did today up. stupid mac to pc issues...

as i was searching the web last night for jobs on the east coast, i started to think... i have many reasons to be in jersey. close to nyc, be with cousins, close to cam and kate, close to NYC! oh wait, already said that. my dear auntie liza is willing to put me up for stint this summer while i do what i do! awesome? i think so! i think it could work. i just have to get my plane ticket. note: it won't be until late june, but still.... EAST COAST HERE I COME BABY!!!!

i then continue to the doctrine and covenants class i am hoping to be in and end up sandwiched between two linebackers...
i head home and go to smiths. i find success in a gallon of milk, pears and lays stacs.
then i head back to school and find myself in a classroom the size of kaity's closet, and in a line of 12 people trying to add an already full class of signers. then, i get to my next class 10 minutes early, again trying to add. finally, at 4:30, a secretary comes down with the message that there is no professor for this class and it may be canceled. exciting right?? happy birthday me...
