rude awakening

this morning i got a text from my friend B. "sad- the provo tabernacle burned down"
yeah. check it out here.
i feel rather connected to provo now that i know i'll live here for the next 2 years, at minimum. but i did quite a few things there and i loved that building. it was the oldest, and only pretty building in this town. they say they might not be able to save it. it might have to get demolished. the damage is pretty bad. i don't know how to feel right now.

belated birthday of a best friend.

my dearie melia had her birthday this week. now a mother of one. and a great friend to have. she's got my back. sorry its such an old picture, but i didn't get one with her in august. mer, you is my boo. ain't no doubt. happy belated birthday.
